Project Description

The City owns, operates, and maintains Stormwater Pump Station 8, located at 14201 NW 2nd Street. This pump station provides critical flood protection for approximately 2,305 acres of mixed-use developments, including the City’s Corporate Park, the Sawgrass Mills mall, the Amerant Bank Arena, and the American Express Corporate Headquarters. This existing pump station is nearing the end of its useful life and needs to be replaced.
