Project Description

The proposed Project is located throughout the Village of Berkeley located in Cook County, Illinois. The project is bound by the following streets: Park Ave., McDermott Dr., Wolf Rd., St. Charles Rd., 51st Ave., Oak St., Hawthorne Ave., Taft Ave., Butterfield Rd., High St., Arthur Ave., Coolidge Ave., Victoria Ave. This project will replace 65 lead water service lines as Berkeley works to complete elimination of Lead. The project work will be entirely underground to replace existing lead water service lines carrying water from the watermain to each home or building with a new non-lead (copper) water service line. The project will be managed by the Village of Berkeley and Hancock Engineering.
