Project Description

The Town of Occoquan's proposed stormwater remediation project will include evaluating the conditions of the existing stormsewer network via closed-circuit television (CCTV) and preparing a comprehensive assessment of critical stormwater assets to evaluate structural integrity, document deficiencies, and develop prioritized actionable recommendations. Based on the findings of the assessment, a qualified contractor will complete system repairs comprised of pipe cleaning, lining and abandonment via industry standard best practices including using trenchless technologies to minimize environmental impacts and disruption to the community. This project will result in a safer and structurally sound stormwater system with increased capacity, reliability, and resiliency from run-off-based flooding.
