Project Description

The Town of Davie is proposing drainage improvements to prevent flooding on select roadways. The Project will include upsizing SW 48th Street West pipes to 48-inch diameter pipes, installing a flap gate on the SW 48th Street outfall, installing a rear yard drain in the vacant right-of-way, and constructing a control structure and berm on the east side of Sunny Lake. The Project will upsize SW 55th Avenue pipes to 30- and 36-inch diameter pipes, add five pairs of catch basins on SW 55th Avenue, extend SW 55th Avenue pipes farther north, install SW 48th Street pipes to the SW 52nd Avenue canal, and upsize pipes on SW 54th Terrace to 24- and 30-inch diameter pipes.
