The Port Royal Municipal Authority will use this grant to upgrade the Bergstresser Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), which is under a Consent Order and Agreement with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection. Improvements include upgrades to the disinfection system (transitioning from chlorine to UV disinfection) and installation of an effluent flow meter and composite sampler, which are required for National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System reporting and are currently not installed at the WWTP.EPA Region/Headquarters Office
