Project Description

The Project consists of the replacement of approximately 33,500 linear feet (LF) of existing 30-inch transmission line with a 36-inch pipe, constructed via open trench and one segment of horizontal directional drilling under Tavernier Creek. These Community Grant funds will specifically be used for one component of a larger project, the Transmission Plantation Key Project, out of nine regional water and environmental infrastructure projects being undertaken by the FKAA as part of the Critical Water Supply Repairs and Construction Initiative.
