Project Description

The Indian Creek Water Treatment Plant provides an average of 33 million gallons per day (MGD) of potable drinking water and fire protection to approximately 225,000 residents of Fayette and Westmoreland Counties. This proposed project will install a redundant 1,100 linear feet of 48-inch ductile iron transmission main that will cross under the Youghiogheny River and the Norfolk Southern rail line to enhance system capabilities and ensure uninterrupted service to those residents.
