Project Description

The Old Castle Road Pipeline replacement project is in the Valley Center Municipal Water District, CA service area. The Project consists of removal and replacement of approximately 10,900 linear feet (LF) of existing 12-inch tar wrapped steel pipe along Old Castle Road between Leisure Lane and Pamoosa Road. The Project involves minor upgrading and a functional replacement of an existing underground water main. The Project does not involve new discharges or any increase in pollutant loading. The new water transmission main is needed to continue supplying water to the City residents and will not induce any growth within the service area.
