Project Description

This project will reduce flooding impacts in the Lower Ward 1 area of Hyattsville by implementing stormwater best management practices (BMPs) identified as part of the Lower Ward 1 Resilient Stormwater Systems Planning Study. There are nine (9) subprojects included. Four are retrofits to public parking lots, one is a channel drain road crossing and outfall, one is a set of street retrofit designs, and three involve retrofitting existing stormwater BMPs that are in need of refurbishment to function at full capacity.
