funds through an EPA Congressionally Directed Spending grant for this project. The proposed project will consist of the installation of a water well, pressure and holding tanks, a distribution pump, electrical service, building to enclose the site, and associated piping to provide 75 gallons per minute of potable water to the Jackson Parish Hospital and surrounding community. The construction of the new water well and associated facilities/equipment will ensure a consistent supply of water to the Hospital and neighboring communities, regardless of the weather and in the event of a widespread utility or greater water system outage.
