Project Description

The Project is a septic to sewer conversion that would serve approximately 200 lots involving the construction of 23 grinder pump stations; 1,750 linear feet (LF) of 1 ¼-inch high-density polyethylene (HDPE) force main; 5,366 LF of 2-inch HDPE force main; 5,140 LF of 3-inch HDPE force main; and 5,376 LF of 6-inch PVC gravity sewer lateral pipe. The Project is included in the Basin Management Action Plan to address pollutant loads from septic systems that discharge into the groundwater flowing into springs. The Project is needed to reduce nitrogen loads to springs and meet Total Maximum Daily Load requirements.
