Project Description

This project upgrades the existing water treatment plant (WTP) and expands the WTP building to allow placement of an additional solids contact unit clarifier and filter. The upgrades include constructing an additional dual-media sand filtration unit, installing chloramine equipment, and replacing backwash and transfer service pumps. The project will result in the long-term reduction of disinfection byproducts which will result in safe and clear water for the community.
