Project Description

The JVWCD has experienced a great deal of growth in its service area, and the current generator power is undersized for the area if no upgrades are made. Without the improvements, the existing generator power is not reliable or strong enough to provide sufficient water to all necessary zones during a power outage. To remedy these issues, the project will replace, add, or upgrade generators and electronics at five different pump station sites in the JVWCD service area, where demand models project JVWCD would be short capacity.
