Phase 1 will replace identified service lines present on Page Avenue, Chase Avenue, Weart Avenue, Octavia Place, Sixth Street, Laurel Avenue, and Kingsland Avenue. The project has identified approximately 338 service lines totaling 8,200 linear feet of lead/galvanized steel or iron service lines within phase 1. The replacement process will utilize both trenchless and traditional trenching methods with 0.75-inch to 2-inch copper replacement lines. There will be no rehabilitation of piping, only replacement. The Township anticipates the replacement of approximately 80 monument boxes and about 185 valves. No replacement equipment/structures or ancillary equipment additions are anticipated.EPA Region/Headquarters Office
