Project Description

The proposed project includes various renovations and improvements to the Blairsville Municipal Authority (BMA) water treatment plant. Structural repairs shall be made to the existing steel treatment tanks (clarifier and filter) followed by repainting both the interior and exterior walls of the tanks, installing filter air scour piping and equipment as well as new clarifier and filter media. The Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system, which controls and monitors all the treatment processes, will be upgraded along with the installation of new instrumentation and chemical feed equipment.
