Project Description

To alleviate the frequency and duration of flooding, the Project would construct approximately 200 linear feet (LF) of new stormwater drainage pipe that will connect to an existing stormwater drainage system. The pipeline will be installed along North Rodriguez Street. Additionally, the Project will clear and grub two existing stormwater ponds to restore the original design capacity and replace the existing outfall structure that has deteriorated. The first stormwater pond is a wet pond located northwest of the intersection of Railroad Street and North Rodriguez Street. Dewatering of the wet pond is not planned at this time; however, dewatering may be required depending on rainfall prior to construction. The second stormwater pond is a dry pond located on a parcel of land to the southeast of the intersection of Railroad Street and North Rodriquez Street.
