Project Description

The proposed project includes expanding the current rated capacity of 0.95 million gallons per day (MGD) of the DeSoto County Regional wastewater treatment plant to 1.4 MGD. In line with the expanded treatment, the existing effluent disposal spray field system will be rehabilitated and expanded to a permitted capacity of 1.4 MGD to accommodate the increased treatment capacity of the expansion. Increasing capacity to 1.4 MGD is critical to meet growing demand, ensure resilience, and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.
