Project Description

The Kahilinai Place and Aiea Heights Drive Water System Improvements Project involves installing approximately 4,325 linear feet (LF) of new 6 to 8-inch water lines. The work will involve trenching to depths of 6 to 7-feet within existing rights-of-way. The existing water lines will be disconnected and plugged. The total area of work is 4.37 acres. Water lines to be installed include 2,000 LF along Kahilinai Place to the intersection with Aiea Heights Drive, 1,250 LF along Aiea Heights Drive from Hoio Place to a new connection with the Aiea Heights Reservoir, 425 LF along Aheahe Street from Kanaloa Street to Aiea Heights Drive, 650 LF along Hakina Street from Kanaloa Street to Kaulainahee Place.
