Project Description

The City of Trinidad currently is experiencing problems with aging drinking water infrastructure that experiences frequent breaks, has areas with stagnant water, and experiences low water pressure due to leaks and other infrastructure problems making firefighting efforts more difficult. To remedy these issues, the project will consist of the installation of approximately 1,600 feet of water main, connecting 14 taps to a 20-inch pipeline, replacing approximately 800 feet of 2-inch galvanized lines with 6-inch lines, replacing a broken 12-inch cast iron main with new steel casing and new 12-inch PVC line (about 270 feet), and adding directional bores to a transmission line.
