Project Description

The Native Electric 2023—Phase 3 project will reduce emissions and improve air quality by replacing 15 Class 7 diesel school buses with 15 Class 7 electric school buses, allowing the school bus fleet of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians to become fully electric. To support these additional electric buses, the proposed action is to purchase and install three new direct current (DC) fast chargers, with three dispensers on each charger.
