N2024357Document Type
CATEXProject Description
The Project involves constructing a sanitary sewer system to allow existing septic-tank abandonment to approximately 495 platted parcels within the Christobel Septic Tank Phase Out Service Area. An estimated 310 septic systems will be abandoned as part of the Project. The Project will eliminate the existing septic tanks and connect existing parcels to a central sewer system that will collect and pump the raw wastewater to a central JEA wastewater treatment facility. As part of the improvements, the City of Jacksonville will also address existing water distribution system deficiencies related to small-diameter (galvanized, etc.) water mains that need to be replaced and upsized to address fire protection requirements as well as provide central water service to those parcels that may be served by onsite wells.EPA Region/Headquarters Office
