Project Description

Lackawanna River Basin Sewer Authority proposes to undertake a project to replace the two existing rectangular clarifiers at the Clinton Township wastewater treatment plant with two new circular clarifiers. The project will also include the construction of a new clarifier flow distribution box to equally divide incoming flow between the two new clarifier units, construction of a masonry block building to house return sludge pumps and associated controls necessary for drawing and conveying settled solids from the clarifier tanks, including installation of all interconnecting piping required to convey wastewater and activated sludge to and from the new clarifier tanks.
