Project Description

EPA is adopting the EA from USDA NRCS for the Ochoco Irrigation District Infrastructure Modernization Project. The EPA Proposed Action would involve construction of a new 800-horsepower pump station to the east of North McKay Creek Road at 44.378750, -120.830604 and a 6-mile pipeline to deliver reliable irrigation water from Prineville Reservoir (through a connection on the Crooked River) to 17 farms and ranches and approximately 685 acres adjacent to McKay Creek.
