Project Description

The City is seeking federal funds through an EPA Community Grant to rehabilitate the existing combined sewer system, install new separate storm and gravity sanitary sewer infrastructure, and relocate the water main. The purpose of the project is to address structural pipe failures and to separate stormwater and sanitary sewer flows to reduce combined sewer discharges (CSOs) to the Connecticut River watershed.
