Project Description

The City of Westminster is building a new water purification facility for treatment of effluent of the existing Water Reclamation Facility for augmentation of Cranberry Reservoir. The selected purification process will consist of the ultrafiltration, reverse osmosis, ultraviolet disinfection, advanced oxidation, and granular activated carbon polishing, followed by final pH adjustments and chlorination prior to discharging to the Cranberry Reservoir. The facility will be located in the stockyard in place of the existing buildings (previously used as livestock auction buildings).
