Project Description

Project includes a modernization of the 40-year-old treatment facility. Plant improvements include replacing electric pumps to control the system, upgrading underground pipes, and digging up and replacing the sand filter beds. The wastewater treatment facility is permitted by the State of Connecticut DEEP under NPDES number CT0101605 for a designed flow rate of 0.0972 million gallons per day (MGD).
