Project Description

The proposed project involves the voluntary construction of a submerged gravel wetland as a stormwater quality best management practice. The proposed submerged wetland will be connected to a stormwater ditch that receives and conveys runoff from portions of nearby roadways and the neighboring residential areas. Additional project components include a check dam and an emergency overflow to allow for drainage of excess water during high flow events. This project is intended solely as a water quality practice and no new impervious surfaces will be created, no development will occur, and no credit towards future developments or improvements is associated with this project.
