This project will involve the installation of 570 liner feet (LF) of exfiltration trench system and 20 drainage structures along SW 216 Street that will collect the stormwater runoff and will provide the required water quality treatment. The exfiltration trench system, consisting of a 4-foot-wide trench by 20 feet deep with 24-inch perforated pipe along the roadway has been designed to provide the required water quality treatment for the proposed improvements in accordance with the South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) Environmental Resources Permitting Manual. Additionally, the proposed stormwater system is connected to an outfall pipe that discharges into a pond located at Trooper Robert G. Smith Park.EPA Region/Headquarters Office
