Project Description

Student Transportation of America, Inc. plans to replace diesel school buses with electric school buses and install associated direct current fast charging (DCFC) units and associated charging infrastructure at the following locations: STA will replace one diesel school bus with one electric school bus and install one DCFC charging station at the school bus depot site at 720 East Joe Orr Road, Chicago Heights, IL 60411. STA will replace five diesel school buses with five electric school buses and install three DCFC charging stations at the school bus depot at 1528 Emerson Street, Evanston, IL 60201. STA will replace 25 diesel school buses with 25 electric school buses and install 13 DCFC charging stations at the school bus depot at 7111 West Mill Road, Milwaukee, WI 53218.
