Project Description

The Sewer Treatment Capacity Project will involve construction of a Septage Receiving Station at the existing Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) in Benson, NC. Located in proximity to the existing Grit Removal System/Mechanical Bar-Screen, the new Septage Receiving Station will receive septage from private septic system collectors with an approximate loading volume of 3,000 gallons per load and a loading capacity of 10 trucks/day.
