Project Description

This project proposes to manage localized flood risk by milling and resurfacing the asphalt roads and re-grading the roadside swales, removing, and replacing existing piped sections with new concrete pipes. The drainage system will be extended to other areas of the neighborhood which has flooding problems. Improvements also include conveyance systems managed discharge out of the neighborhood drainage basin and mitigating downstream impact. The project consists of installing 21,802-linear feet (LF) of concrete drainage pipes and regrading in Wilkinson Gardens Neighborhood of Augusta.
