Cranberry Township owns, operates, and maintains a collection, conveyance and treatment system that serves most of Cranberry Township, Butler County, Pennsylvania. Proposed improvements include: Two new anaerobic digesters with control building and waste gas flare; Additional waste sludge holding facility; New post digestion sludge storage tank; New solids processing building with two centrifuges and appurtenances; Demolition of the existing Autothermal Thermophillic Aerobic Digestors (ATADs); Demolition of the two existing belt filter presses and appurtenances; and Other ancillary improvements to the influent pump station, grit handling, primary clarifiers, existing waste sludge holding, and odor control systems.EPA Region/Headquarters Office
