Project Description

The Ounalashka Corporation plans to excavate, transport and dispose of PCB-impacted soils at the site and backfilling with clean fill. This task will consist of site mobilization/preparation, remedial excavation/confirmation sampling, waste transportation/disposal, and site restoration/demobilization activities. These activities are anticipated to take up to six weeks to complete. The contaminated soil is located between Building 551 and East Point Road and is currently a gravel lot that is being used for employee parking.
