Project Description

EPA adopted the March 3, 2024, categorical exclusion determination issued by HUD for the Tribal Homes Carbon Reduction and Safety Initiative. The EPA EJG2G grant to the Prairie Island Indian Community is substantially the same as HUD in that the EPA funding will be used to perform home energy audits to identify efficient and cost-saving options for community member homes and subsequently install home system upgrades and energy-efficient equipment.
