The Louisville and Jefferson County Metropolitan Sewer District (MSD) in Kentucky is proposing to repair or replace 20 existing sewer catch-basins and their associated internal plumbing traps within the combined sewer system of the California Neighborhood, in an effort to reduce odor-causing hydrogen sulfide gases from escaping into the neighborhood and adjacent homes. The work will be completed within the existing road right-of-way on W. Kentucky Street, S. 22nd Street, DR. W J Hodge Street, S. 24th Street, S. 23rd Street, S. 26th Street, S. 15th Street, St. Catherine Street, Garland Avenue and W. Broadway.EPA Region/Headquarters Office
