Project Description

Berkeley County Public Service Water District is upgrading watermains in the proximity of the Bunker Hill Water Treatment facility. The activities to be performed are the construction of 1,200 linear feet of 24" watermain, 700 linear feet of 18" watermain, and 1,200 linear feet of raw water line. Activities essential to these installations include railroad and roadway bores, construction of service lines, easement procurement, and the installation of valves, hydrants, meters, and other appurtenances. The watermain upgrades are essential to ensure the delivery of safe drinking water to the approximately 30,000 customers in the service area.
