Project Description

The project will construct a new sanitary sewer pipe on 4th Street near the intersection of Jefferson Street east to Ash Street. The project will reuse the existing storm sewer system as much as practicable, but portions of the existing system will need to be replaced with pipes sized for current design standards. Additionally, the project will eliminate parts of the combined sewer traveling through private properties and not accessible for City staff to clean and maintain. As part of the project, old aging (approximately 100 years old) water main pipes will be replaced within the construction corridor.
