Project Description

This project will replace and upgrade the six sand filters at the Creswell Heights Joint Authority (CHJA) water treatment plant (WTP) which services communities in Allegheny and Beaver counties. Upgrades include the replacement of filter media, as well as upgrades and modernization of WTP appurtenances to maintain water quality and an efficient purification process. Improvements will be completed in phases to maintain WTP operations throughout the duration of the improvements.
