Project Description

This project will help correct the sewage collection, treatment, and disposal problems on Smith Island. The EPA grant will fund the installation of a force main from Tylerton to Smith Island including the architect and engineering service. The force main work is one of four contracts associated with the overall project and will connect the sewage flow from Tylerton to the Rhodes collection system to be treated and disposed at the new Ewell wastewater treatment plant.
