Project Description

This project consists of two major components to achieve a complete wastewater collection and treatment system. The first item that will be designed and constructed is a low-pressure pipe network throughout the city. This system includes a grinder pump at each sewer user for a total of 214 pumps and the associated electrical equipment necessary for operation. This item also includes over 56,000 feet of sewer pipe to form a network throughout the city to connect each household to the Citywide sewer. The other component of the project is the addition of a new wastewater treatment plant that will collect the sewage from each user and treat it per Missouri Department of Natural Resources (MDNR) regulations.
