Construct the Bank Street Drainage Project in Kingman, Arizona which will include installation of a catch basin at the intersection of Gordon Avenue and Bank Street. The Project will construct approximately 5,800 feet of storm drain piping (36-inch) to convey flows to an aboveground ditch to the north of Kingman High School and into the Mohave Wash channel. The catch basin will be installed across Gordon Drive at the southern end of the project area and inlets will be added on either side of Bank Street under the existing sidewalk. Trenching for the catch basin will be 50 feet in length, 5 feet wide, and 7-feet deep. The storm drainpipe will connect the inlets to the main line. Trenching for the storm drainpipe will be approximately 7 feet wide by 8 feet deep. Project staging will occur in the Kingman High School parking lot. The Project will help alleviate surface water and flooding along Bank Street north of Gordan Avenue which has long been recognized as a safety hazard. The Project will be completed within an existing roadway.EPA Region/Headquarters Office
