Project Description

Drinking Water System Improvements: • Purchase and install a packaged PFOS water treatment system (40-feet long by 8-feet wide) on a newly constructed concrete pad adjacent to the Borough’s Well House on 7 Young Drive. Additionally, minor site restoration will also be required. • Drill and test a new potable water source in accordance with the State’s Allocation and Safe Drinking Water Standards. Install a backup well approximately 100 feet from the Well House. • Replace the existing 6-inch watermain with 2,350 length feet of 8-inch diameter pipes; ten gate valves; three hydrant connections with 6-inch diameter pipes, tees, and valves; and 40 1-inch service line connections on Crescent Avenue.
