Project Description

This project will entail installing five barrier islands/rock reefs parallel to the unprotected shoreline, increasing the depth profile of an existing, shallow channel and off-channel pond area; deepening the remnants of an existing ferry slip and installing fish attraction structures; installing shoreline protection in the form of heavy stone and cabled logs in some locations; and planting of emergent vegetation and submerged aquatic vegetation around the rock reefs and in some of the excavated areas.
