Project Description

Many severely deteriorated manhole structures that are part of the sanitary sewer collection system throughout St. Croix need either rehabilitation involving wall reinforcement or full replacement. The manhole rehabilitation project, addressing manholes of severity rating 4 and 5, will be completed in six phases. The severity rating is based on an evaluation conducted by InfraMetrix on manholes over six project areas or zones: ¿ Phase 1: West End ¿ 33 manholes (grade 5)/149 manholes (grade 4). ¿ Phase 2 ¿ Prince ¿ 78 manholes (grade 5)/168 manholes (grade 4). ¿ Phase 3 ¿ King - 56 manholes (grade 5)/105 manholes (grade 4). ¿ Phase 4 ¿ Queen - 31 manholes (grade 5)/78 manholes (grade 4). ¿ Phase 5 ¿ Company - 85 manholes (grade 5)/199 manholes (grade 4). ¿ Phase 6 ¿ East End A - 15 manholes (grade 5)/46 manholes (grade 4).
