Project Description

The WWTP will undergo, through phased work, electrical, instrumentation, civil/structural, and mechanical upgrades, which will also introduce newer technologies to improve the operational efficiency of the treatment plant while protecting human health and the environment, and protect the water quality of Stalley and Bovoni Bays. The proposed upgrades will be implemented in eight phases for the following systems or units: 1. Ultraviolet and Back-up Chlorine Disinfection 2. Stormwater Drainage and Access Roadway 3. Electrical and Instrumentation 4. Sludge and Septic Receiving/Dewatering 5. Influent Grit Removal 6. Discharge Piping 7. Sequencing Batch Reactor 8. Air Conditioning and Telecommunications
