Project Description

The scope of the proposed project is to improve upon the efficiency and quality of the existing WWTP through the installation of new membrane units for the membrane bioreactor system (MBS), isolating the UV system, general improvements to the lift station adjacent to the WWTP, and the installation of a filtration system/manhole at said lift station. The new membrane units, lift station improvements, and filtration system upgrade will increase the plant¿s efficiency while isolating the UV system from its current corrosive environment in a small room will both increase the WWTP¿s efficiency and ensure proper effluent disinfection. The project does not involve acquisition of new property, nor will it increase capacities or change discharge points of the sewer system. All related work for this project will occur in the boundaries of the Pueblo, only at the existing facility and lift station
