Title
Bordeaux Wastewater Treatment Plant ReplacementDocument Number
N2015027Document Type
CATEXProject Description
A new modular pre-engineered packaged wastewater treatment system of approximately 5,000 square feet will be assembled on a new reinforced concrete slab constructed on a vacant space on site near the end of a paved driveway (lower) immediately adjacent to the existing clarifier. The project will involve replacement in-kind of structural and mechanical components as part of the design-build (turnkey) process to provide a modern and efficient wastewater treatment with biological nutrient removal (BNR) technology. The existing WWTP is currently oversized and operating under capacity, thus underutilized. Therefore, the new plant¿s capacity will be reduced by approximately 20 percent and sized to adequately treat wastewater flows ranging from 25,000 gpd up to 100,000 gpd and achieve an effluent quality that meets or exceeds the new TPDES permit requirements.EPA Region/Headquarters Office
