Enfield Green Bridge Culvert ReplacementDocument Number
N2015024Document Type
CATEXProject Description
The existing culvert consists of deteriorated and damaged corrugated metal pipes that bridges the Enfield Green gut. This culvert channels stormwater runoff that flows through the gut and discharges into Breids Bay. These corrugated metal pipes will be removed and replaced with a 48 feet long by 24 feet wide by 14 feet deep concrete box culvert to bridge the gut. Additionally, the wing walls and the concrete apron are also badly deteriorated and damaged requiring reconstruction. After the box culvert, wing walls, and apron construction are complete, pavement will be placed over the top surface of the box culvert to connect to the adjacent roadway and the surrounding soil on both sides of the culvert will be graded to the pavement surface.EPA Region/Headquarters Office
