CATEXProject Description
The existing 570-foot long by 3-foot wide by 2-foot deep mini box culvert that runs parallel to Prince Street (Route 7029) between Market Street and Lagoon Street cannot accommodate the volume of stormwater runoff. The culvert interior is clogged with sediment and debris, and the adjacent roadway and nearby residential and commercial properties flood during heavy precipitation events from stormwater overflows. In addition, the existing access manholes associated with the box culvert are severely corroded and pose a hazard to pedestrians in the area. The proposed project consists of inspections and cleaning to remove all sediment and debris from the entire mini box culvert interior and associated inlets. The existing manholes will be removed and replaced with Neenah grates.EPA Region/Headquarters Office
